What data we process and why

Browsing data. The server hosting the site automatically logs some technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest. It is kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

Statistics (Google Analytics 4), only with your consent. If you accept statistics, Google Analytics collects aggregated data on pages visited, device used and taps on the WhatsApp and phone buttons. Provider: Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: consent.

Marketing (Meta Pixel), only with your consent. If you accept marketing, Meta Pixel records the visit so that ads can be shown on Facebook and Instagram in the future. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Legal basis: consent.

Contact. If you message us on WhatsApp, email or call us, we use the data you give us (name, dates, number of guests, message) only to reply and manage any booking. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and contract. The site's form sends us nothing: it prepares the message in your WhatsApp app, and you decide whether to send it. WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited, with its own privacy policy.

Map. The Google map loads only if you press "Show the map"; from then on Google's privacy policy applies.

Guests. For guests who stay with us we process the data required by Italian law: registration with the police through the Alloggiati Web portal and the City of Rome tourist tax. Legal basis: legal obligation.

How long

Contact data: as long as needed to reply and manage the booking. Guest data: for the periods required by law. Statistics and marketing: up to 2 years for Google Analytics cookies, 3 months for the Meta cookie; you can withdraw consent at any time.

Your rights

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing and withdraw consent by writing to ilpianofortediteresa@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
